Support Groups

Support groups are an opportunity to come together with others who are dealing with a similar situation in order to feel less alone. Through the sharing of experiences and challenges, and offering encouragement, comfort, and coping strategies, participants build connections and community.

Participants in support groups may feel less lonely, isolated or judged as a support group provides an opportunity to talk openly and honestly about feelings and experiences. There may be reductions in distress, depression, anxiety, or fatigue. Participants may improve their skills to cope with challenges and gain a sense of empowerment, control, or hope around their situation.

The next cohort begins January 2025!
